TIME TO CALL INDIAN BLUFF

In the present age of the Information, propaganda is the key strategy to achieving the objectives of the psychological warfare. In fact, many battles are fought and won along the sidelines, long before the actual declaration of war. Media plays a key-role in this regard. Be it the Hearst-and-Pulitzer led media war ahead of the Spanish-American war, the Nazi propaganda machine or the Cold War in general, media shaped the views of the public. It helped garner public support for the conduct of the war by rallying their emotions around the conflict.

Last year, an independent German author Elias Davidsson wrote a well-researched book on the 2008 Mumbai Attacks. The event is often dubbed as the Indian 9/11, less because of the scale of atrocities and more because of the conspiracies it had in its genesis. Davidsson collected many an evidence against the Indian establishment and recorded the firsthand testimonies of the witnesses deliberately ignored by the Indian courts. He calls for an assessment of India’s state investigation of the attacks and he reveals an implicit pact among the Indian news media, the politicians, the judiciary and the law and enforcement agencies, in order to exact the evil returns from the Mumbai Attacks. Davidsson also discloses the benefits amassed by some major players in the US and India following the horrendous events. In fact, the Indian defence budget grew by twenty-one percent following the attacks, with promise of additional increases in the years to come. Davidsson has clearly indicated a collusion among the RAW, Mossad and the Langley in the conception, execution and deceptive investigation of the 26/11. Indeed, the RAW and Mossad are natural partners in this crime, not to mention their geo-strategic partnership. India is the largest buyer of Israeli arms, particularly their missile defence systems.

Davidsson believes that the Mumbai Attacks were a false flag operation. Therefore, the Indian courts and her media ignored the statements of important eye-witnesses and barred the commandoes, who took part in the mission against the terrorists, to comment on the event. Indeed, to conceal a crime is itself a crime. As if killing one’s own people was not enough, India resorted to screening the evidences against the actual criminals and thereby committed twofold atrocity against her own people by willful protection of the criminals and by the forceful denial of the truth. Obviously, the perception management begins by forming the opinion of one’s own population. When the perpetrators are known before or during an event, it indicates an insider job. It shows that the event will be used to create certain perception in a well-planned scheme of deception. Indian media hurriedly went into frenzy, endangering the lives of millions of Pakistanis and Indians. During the Attacks, the-then Indian PM implicitly conveyed that the terrorist organization involved in the attacks, was tolerated by Pakistan.

According to Elias Davidsson, the Indian institutions had no aspirations to establish the truth on these deadly events. The Indian courts ignored the witnesses who came in close contact with the terrorists. The number of terrorists continued to differ in various reports, as did the number of surviving terrorists. The investigators resurrected a dead victim to testify against Pakistan; another, died at two different locations. Moreover, not a single witness testified to having observed even a single murder. The crime scenes were also cleaned up against the norms of investigation. The forensic studies failed to produce even a single AK-47 bullet despite various claims of the terrorist armed with the AK-47s. The Media was shut down and the public access to the site and insight of the event was limited. The writer also ridiculed the malfunctioning CCTV cameras and distorted footages with conflicting time-stamps and editing. Further, no public trial of the prime suspect took place. The lawyer who agreed to defend the accused was removed in the court; another defence attorney was assassinated. The accused was also executed and buried at an undisclosed place.

There is no doubt that Pakistan was the major victim of the Mumbai Attacks. Undeniably, it was the primary objective of the false flag operation. Indian media played rather well and made Joseph Goebbels very proud of their propaganda machine. India gained sympathies of the world community by portraying herself as a victim of terrorism, however self-inflicted it may be. Being a “self-proclaimed” victim made it one the leaders in the GWOT. As opposed to exposing India as an insecure and terror-ridden state facing many a movements of self-determination, the Attacks provided the much needed opportunity to the Indian government to suppress the liberation movements with an iron fists. It is worth a mention here that the terrorist organization claimed by India to be involved in the Mumbai Attacks, is based in the Indian-Occupied Kashmir. Moreover, it has been a banned outfit in Pakistan since 2001.

It is unfortunate to acknowledge that India is occupied with the intentions to malign Pakistan. India desires to banish Pakistan from the world community and aspires to bring Pakistan under economic influences and sanctions. In this attempt, it is provided support by some black sheep within Pakistan who keep a false hope for an elusive peace. Therefore, Pakistan must acquaint the Indian people with the facts. It must negate the Indian propaganda by siding with the Indian civil society which is boxed by the state-led, state-sponsored Hindutva. Armed with Davidsson’s book, the Indian civil society must proliferate reality in their own country.

Pakistan’s military might is considerably at par with the Indian prowess, successfully defending the geographical boundaries of Pakistan. Unfortunately, our media has failed to secure Pakistan on ideological, cultural and factual battlefields. In the Betrayal of India, Pakistani media has a document to trigger the Casus Belli in order to the respond to the deceitful Indian rumors and to retaliate massively against their Indian counter-parts. The media must rally the world around the cause of Pakistan. They must build a counter-narrative to candidly negate the Indian falsehood in Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan and Iran.

With Davidsson’s storm-raising book, the false flag operation, codenamed “Mumbai Attacks” is an open secret. It is rather painful to acknowledge that some of the Pakistani media houses, harboring “liaison agents of harmony” also contributed to the mission of the Indian media. The Pakistani civil society must take the case against these soul-vendors to the honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan. These pseudo-liberals are monsters in the guise of the dove, ready to devour their own motherland.

Lastly, Pakistan must seek the solution to its plight in front of the nations of the world. The International Court of Justice at The Hague is an appropriate forum. Pakistan can invoke Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations which allows the UN Security Council to determine the acts of aggression and to restore the International peace and security. Indian false flag operations and male-intent for her neighbours is a risk to international peace. Therefore, under the aforementioned chapter of the UN Charter, and being a responsible international actor, Pakistan must demand the creation of an International Inquiry Commission to investigate the Mumbai Attacks. Lately, the brinksmanship of the Indian general staff has alarmed the international community due to the credible nuclear capabilities of both the states. Last year, India backed away from its no-first use nuclear policy. Recently, irresponsible statement by the Indian Army chief that India is ready to call Pakistan’s nuclear bluff is a clear indication that India is willing to risk international peace by nurturing the desire of taking on its nuclear neighbour.

In an age, when the information is a plenty and the sources are innumerable, it is difficult to discern fact from fiction. As long as, there is a host of misinformation and disinformation, police states like India will continue to wage a propaganda war against their own citizens as well as the world community. But in the Betrayal of India, Elias Davidsson has called the Indian bluff and debunked the legend of Mumbai Attacks. Certainly, the Indian CBI will benefit from a Sherlock like him.
