تحریر: محمد اسامہ شفیق وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب میاں محمد شہباز شریف صوبہ بھر میں حفظان صحت کے شعبہ میں بڑی پیش رفت کا اعادہ کر چکے ہیں۔ واضح رہے کہ اس سے قبل، اپنے پچھلے دور حکومت میں وہ صوبہ پنجاب میں تعلیمی دھماکہ کرنے میں بھی کامیاب رہے تھے۔ تاہم اس بار ان کی نظر صحت کے شعبے میں ترقی پر ڈٹی ہے۔ یقینا ایسی خدمات تاریخی اعتبار سے انہیں پنجاب کہ عظیم حکمرانوں میں سرفہرست رکھنے میں معاون ثابت ہوںگی۔ ستاروں سے آگے جہاں اور بھی ہیں۔ بہر کیف، انہیں خادم اعلیٰ کا لقب آسانی سے حاصل نہیں ہوا۔ اس کے لئے انہوں نے شب و روز تگ و دو کی ہے۔ پنجاب بھر میں حفظان صحت کی سہولیات کو یقینی بنانے کے لئے وزیر اعلیٰ نے شعبہ صحت کے انتظامی ڈھانچے میں بنیادی ترامیم کو اپنا اولین مقصد بنا لیا ہے۔ صوبہ میں صحت کے لئے مختص بجٹ میں بھی بڑا اضافہ کیا گیا ہے۔ حالیہ مالی سال 2017-18 کے لئے صوبہ بھر میں صحت کے شعبے پر 120 ارب روپے کی کثیر رقم خرچ کی جائے گی جو گزشتہ مالی سال کی نسبت 60 فیصد کا اضافہ ہے۔ یقینا یہ اقدام شعبہ صحت کے حوالے سے حکومتی سنجیدگی کی عکاسی کرتے ہیں۔  وزیر اعلیٰ کی ہدایات کے مطابق پنجاب...

The factors range from religion to politics and laws as well as the general perceptions of the people.
